Kojo Yankah:
Born on August 16, 1945, in Agona Duakwa, Agona East District, Central Region, Ghana.
The son of a schoolteacher, he was educated in various primary schools throughout the Central Region.
Attended Adisadel College for secondary education (1960-66)
Earned a Bachelor of Arts Honours in English from the University of Ghana, Legon. (1972)
Taught at Adisadel College(1972-74)
Received a Graduate Diploma in Journalism & Communication (1976) from the University of Ghana.
Pursued an M.Phil. in African Studies with a thesis on “Feminism in African Literature” (1988) from the University of Ghana.
Undertook a Fellowship at the University of Nairobi, Kenya, and Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, to study Communication Studies for Development.
